Other properties are the same. THIS VERSION OF CP-3 IS A 17-POSITION LATITUDINAL SCAN OVERHEAD TROMSO AND KIRUNA WITH ONE BEAM SWING POSITION 20 DEG IN AZIMUTH TO THE NORTH-EAST OF SCAN TRAJECTORY. TO KEEP THE ALTITUDE COVERAGE FOR ALL ANTENNA POSITIONS ROUGHLY, THE START RANGES AND PULSE LENGTHS FOR THE FIRST AND THE LAST 5 ELEVATIONS OF THE SCAN ARE ADJUSTED BY USING DIFFERENT RADAR CONTROLLER PROGRAMMES. THE USED PULSE LENGTHS FOR LONG PULSE AND SHORT PULSE IN MICROSECONDS AND THE START RANGES IN UNITS OF 100 M ARE RECORDED IN THE PARAMETER BLOCK POSITION 121/122 AND 123/124. THESE VALUES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE IN THE REMOTE SITE PARAMETER BLOCKS. ADDITIONALLY THE CURRENT ANTENNA POSITION IS RECORDED AS NUMBER BETWEEN 1 (BEAM SWINGING POSITION NORTH-EAST) AND 17 (LAST SCAN POSITION IN THE SOUTH) IN POSITION 125 OF THE PARAMETER BLOCK.
