Office for the Development of Interdisciplinary Research Strategy (ODIRS)

To the website of Center for International Collaborative Research

The development of new research through the connection of space and earth sciences is one of the important roles of ISEE. For this purpose, ISEE established the Office for the Development of Interdisciplinary Research Strategy (ODIRS) under the Director of ISEE in August 2022, in order to promote various interdisciplinary research strongly and strategically in cooperation with researchers in related fields. The ODIRS will build a new research strategy from an interdisciplinary perspective based on the interdisciplinary research that ISEE has conducted to date and the specialized research that has been conducted in each field, and will also work with related communities by utilizing ISEE’s various joint use/joint research programs and joint research projects with related institutions. The ODIRS plays a leading role in realizing these strategies in cooperation with related communities, while taking advantage of ISEE’s various joint research programs and joint research projects with related institutions.
The ODIRS call for proposals on “Interdisciplinary Research Strategy Projects” since fiscal year 2023.
