相木秀則准教授が米国気象学会優秀査読者賞を受賞

毎年１月に行われる米国気象学会年次総会において、同学会が発行する一連の学術誌（Journal of Climate, Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences, Journal of Physical Oceanographyなど）について各一人の優秀査読者が選ばれます。先月行われた第99回年次総会では陸域海洋圏生態研究部の相木秀則准教授が同賞を受賞し、Journal of Physical Oceanographyにおいて近年の学術的な論争の解決に献身的に果たしてきた役割について、「for undertaking reviews others have shied away from, and providing timely and well-considered advice」と評価されました。
