Photometer pointing check

We have used stars: compare a calculated star image and an image taken with digital camera thru photometer view.


Comparison of star images:

Left: star images from StellaNvigator8. Astro Arts. Inc. X shows the field-aligned possition (Az=1871. deg, El=77.6 deg)

Right: Star images take with D5200: Black circle denotes the photometer view.

We have found good agreement between the 2 images.
