We are pleased to announce that Mr. Xu and Mr. Kawai received Outstanding Student Presentation Award of JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2019, which was held at Makuhari during 26-30 May 2019.

Their presentation titles are as follows:

• "Study of quiet-time high-latitude thermospheric winds using a Fabry-Perot interferometer at Tromsoe: Averages and exceptional events" (Mr. Xu)
• "Detection and energy derivation of nano-flares based on deep learning" (Mr. Kawai)
