Prof. Shiokawa of CICR and four students of ISEE joined the Science Festival in Tarumizu 2017 which was held on 16 December 2017 at Tarumizu, Kagoshima near the ISEE/CICR Kagoshima Observatory.  Many elementary school students enjoyed feeling the magnetic field effect through experiments of a fluxgate magnetometer and to create electrical speakers using a paper cup with permanent magnet and coil.
