The 4th ISEE Award Ceremony and Commemorative Lecture Held


The fourth ISEE Award Ceremony and Commemorative Lecture were held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Aiming to develop space–Earth environmental research, promote interdisciplinary research, and explore this new research discipline, the ISEE presents an award for prominent research activity based on the ISEE Joint Research Program.
The fourth ISEE Award was awarded to Dr. Satoshi Kasahara (Associate Professor, The University of Tokyo) for his outstanding contribution to space-earth environmental research by demonstrating the relationship between electron scattering and pulsating auroras in space.
The award ceremony and commemorative lecture were held as follows:
