Hirohiko Masunaga, Associate Professor in the Division of Meteorological and Atmospheric Research, received 2022 ASLI Choice (Science and Technology) Award, which is given by Atmospheric Science Librarians International (ASLI) to recognize the best book published each year in the fields of meteorology, climatology, and atmospheric sciences. The book “Satellite Measurements of Clouds and Precipitation: Theoretical Basis” (Springer) has been selected as the 2022 award winner in the category of Science and Technology.
