Dr. Zekun Lu Receives 2025 IAU PhD Prize Honourable Mention

Dr. Zekun Lu, JSPS International Research Fellow in the Division for Integrated Studies, has received an Honourable Mention for the 2025 International Astronomical Union (IAU) PhD Prize in Division E: Sun and Heliosphere for his doctoral thesis, “Coronal Heating in Solar Active Regions.”
Dr. Lu is also invited to present his work at the IAU General Assembly to be held in Rome, Italy, in August 2027.
