An international research group including Project Associate Professor Kazutaka Yamaoka of the Center for Orbital and Suborbital Observation Promotion and Professor Toshihiro Kawaguchi of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Toyama University has clarified the conditions for the occurrence of the jet phenomenon, which erupts from the vicinity of a black hole at nearly the speed of light, through detailed analysis of simultaneous X-ray and radio data.
