Partial solar eclipse observed with Nobeyama Radioheliograph
[2016-03-31]
Nobeyama Radioheliograph is operated by Nagoya University as a representative of the international consortium. It successfully observed the partial solar eclipase on 9 March 2016 although the weather condition was not good. The figure shows the radio images with a 10-minute interval from 01:10 UT to 03:00 UT on 9 March 2016. This clearly shows the relative motion of the moon to the sun.
