Dr. Masatoshi Kobayashi of the Kobayashi–Maskawa Institute for the Origin of Particles and the Universe (KMI) has been appointed as the Leader of the Liquid Xenon Purification Working Group in the international XENON Collaboration. He will lead the development of purification to further enhance the sensitivity of liquid xenon detectors in dark matter search experiments.
