Rina Yamazaki, a 2nd year student of the Master’s course, was selected for the best presentation by a young researcher for her oral presentation “Development of a new liquid xenon TPC using a high resistivity thin film” at the joint parallel session of the online research group “History of the Universe and Evolution of Matter Revealed from Underground” (June 2-3, 2020). In this research, she evaluated a new electric field formation method using a high-resistance thin film for future direct dark matter search experiments.
