Research Institute Buildings I and II
Research Institute Buildings I (right) and II (left). Please come to the 5th floor of the right building if you are visiting our offices. Large meetings and symposiums are usually held at the 3rd floor of the left building.

From Nagoya Station (JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu)

  • Nagoya St. → Motoyama St. by Subway Higashiyama Line (bound for Fujigaoka) → Nagoya Daigaku St. by Subway Meijo Line (bound for Kanayama) → Walk 12 min. from Exit 2
  • or Nagoya St. → Higashiyama Koen St. by Subway Higashiyama Line (bound for Fujigaoka) → Walk 16 min. from Exit 4

From/To Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Kyoto, or Shin-Osaka Stations

Please take the Shinkansen (“Nozomi” for the fastest connection).

  • Nagoya St. ← (1 h 39 m) → Tokyo St.
  • Nagoya St. ← (1 h 34 m) → Shinagawa St.
  • Nagoya St. ← (1 h 22 m) → Shin-Yokohama St.
  • Nagoya St. ← (34 m) → Kyoto St.
  • Nagoya St. ← (49 m) → Shin-Osaka St.

From Chubu International Airport (NGO)

  • Airport → Kanayama St. (Meitesu Line) → Nagoya Daigaku St. by Subway Meijo Line (bound for Ozone) → Walk 12 min. from Exit 2
  • or Airport → Nagoya St. (Meitesu Line) → Higashiyama Koen St. by Subway Higashiyama Line (bound for Fujigaoka) → Walk 16 min. from Exit 4

Please come to the Research Insititute Building I (click the star mark) by following one of the routes in the map. We are on the 5th floor (see the photo above).

Accomodations

Hotels around Sakae St. (Higashiyama Line), Kanayam St. (Meijo Line), or Nagoya St. are recommended. Please contact us if you prefere to stay at a cheaper guest house in the campus.
