Vice Rectors Arto Maaninen and Tapio Koivu of the University of Oulu, Finland, visit ISEE

The Institute of Space and Earth Environment (ISEE) has been collaborating for many years with researchers at the Sodankyla Geophysical Observatory and the Faculty of Science at the University of Oulu, Finland.

In fact, a faculty member of ISEE works as a cross-appointment professor at the University of Oulu, and the faculty members of the University of Oulu also serve as visiting professors at the ISEE.

On July 13, 2023, Vice Rectors Arto Maaninen and Tapio Koivu of the University of Oulu visited Nagoya University and the ISEE.
The meeting with Vice Rectors was held with Professor Miyoshi, Associate Professors Miyake and Martinez, and Lecturer Oyama.

In the meeting, the cooperative relationship between the ISEE and the University of Oulu is reviewed, and we discuss possible future collaborations between the ISEE and the University of Oulu.
